Recommended Books on Evangelism

"Tell The Truth" By: Will Metzger
In "Tell The Truth," Will Metzger nails the Gospel. Will focuses on God's sovereign grace and the importance of delivering a Christ-centered, Christ-exalting Gospel message. This book has helped me tremendously in my Gospel presentation and understanding. It is designed to be a training manual so it is very practical. In the appendixes he gives an outline for how to engage and share the Gospel with unbelievers.

"The Discipline of Grace" By: Jerry Bridges
Although this book is written for the believers growth in sanctification, Jerry Bridges focuses on knowing the Gospel and preaching it to ourselves daily. This is an excellent resource for evangelism. As we grow in living under the Gospel we will be more impassioned and embolded to share it with others. This is a MUST read!

If there is any book that will burden your heart more for the lost and give you practical steps to sharing the Gospel, this is it. I read this book four years ago while doing missions in Indonesia. God emboldened me to start sharing the Gospel with as many people as I could. This book had a major impact on taking that step.
